[TowardEX NOTIFY-ALL] Remote Reboot / Power Distribution Units Maintenance Notification 12/28/2007

Important: This maintenance notification only affects hosting and EasyColo
colocation customers.  Internet services customers are not affected.

Dear TowardEX Customer,

TowardEX EasyColo has scheduled a planned maintenance event to cut-over all of
our colocation power distribution units (PDUs) to the new SmartOOB Disaster
Recovery and Risk Management platform at 1 Summer St, Boston, MA Data Center.   
Customers that use remote reboot accounts to power cycle their servers will not
be able to do so during the maintenance window of 12am to 2am EST on Friday
12/28/2007.

There will not be any impact to provided services to our customers, with
exception of temporary inability to access your remote reboot accounts for
power cycling of your hosted equipments.  

If you need to remotely power cycle one of your equipments during this cut-over
event, please call our NOC at 617-459-4051 ext. 500 and one of our technicians
will reboot the server for you. Please provide the SID number of the equipment
you wish to have power-cycled.

The purpose of this maintenance event is to relocate the network-enabled PDUs 
to the new SmartOOB platform, off of our production network. This is to ensure
that PDUs are still available for emergency power control needs in the event 
of a production network outage.

TowardEX is providing this notification so that you can determine if business
continuity preparations are necessary. We regret any inconvenience this 
maintenance activity may cause you or your organization. As usual, we are 
committed to keeping you informed about the status of maintenance activities
affecting your service reliability.
