Dear TowardEX Customer,
TowardEX has scheduled a maintenance event to replace one of our border routers and
cut-over all related backbone circuits through the new MMR connections at
1 Summer Street (Boston, MA) datacenter. The maintenance window is scheduled to
commence at 4am EST on Friday 1/25/2008 and conclude by no later than 7am EST.
Due to built-in redundancy features in our network, customer impact is expected to
be minimal, because backup systems will be running during the maintenance. Customers
may experience brief service interruptions or route changes lasting up to a couple
minutes or so between 4am and 4:30am. After 4:30am, no significant impact is expected,
however the remainder of maintenance event should be considered as a precautionary
window until 7am.
If you are unable to connect or having problems for an extended period of time after the
maintenance event, please contact 1-617-459-4051 extension 500.
TowardEX is providing this notification so that you can determine if business
continuity preparations are necessary. We regret any inconvenience this
maintenance activity may cause you or your organization. As usual, we are
committed to keeping you informed about the status of maintenance activities
affecting your service reliability.
Important Notice to E-mail Recipients: Notice sent as a customer courtesy only
and is not a service level agreement or other commitment. Scheduled maintenance
events may not give rise to claims for credits.
Thank you,
