SLA Maintenance Type: Scheduled Maintenance
SLA Maintenance Impact: 10 minutes for affected customers only (see below)
Dear Customer,
TowardEX has scheduled a brief downtime to perform a routine preventive
maintenance on a fiber patch panel inside the MMR in 1 Summer St
datacenter at Boston, MA.
The scheduled activity will be conducted by Markley Group, in joint co-op
with our network engineering staff and will commence at 00:00 AM Saturday,
October 11th, 2008 and will last for 15 minutes with an estimated downtime
of between 5 to 10 minutes for affected customers. Please see below for
the list of affected users.
AFFECTED CUSTOMERS LIST/IMPACT

The maintenance activity will only affect internet connectivity for some
EasyColo Smart Business Colocation customers having any of the following
Server SID numbers:
EC.BOS-D10A07 through EC.BOS-D10A09;
EC.BOS-D10A0A, EC.BOS-D10A0B, EC.BOS-D10A0C, EC.BOS-D10A0D, EC.BOS-D10A0E,
EC.BOS-D10A0F;
EC.BOS-D10A10 through EC.BOS-D10A14
Customers with affected server or equipment listed above will notice
brief outage of internet connectivity for up to 5-10 minutes during the
maintenance operation. Customers with SID number(s) not listed in the
above list are NOT affected by this maintenace. Also, IP transit/dedicated
internet access customers are NOT affected by this maintenance.
If you are unable to connect or having problems for an extended period of time after the
maintenance event, please contact 1-617-459-4051 extension 500.
TowardEX is providing this notification so that you can determine if business
continuity preparations are necessary. We regret any inconvenience this
maintenance activity may cause you or your organization. As usual, we are
committed to keeping you informed about the status of maintenance activities
affecting your service reliability.
