AFFECTED CUSTOMERS:

On the stated maintenance timeframe above, TowardEX has scheduled a maintenance activity
on EasyColo cabinets D30, 811 and 812. Customers with colocated equipments having SID
numbers starting with any of the following pattern below are affected by this maintenance
activity:

EC.BOS-D030**
EC.BOS-8011**
EC.BOS-8012**


INTRODUCTION:

The purpose of this scheduled maintenance activity is to regroom power cables from customer
equipments with 2nd redundant power supplies to a new 208 and 240 Volts power distribution
unit supplying power to "B" riser leg from the 3-phase power distribution system.

This maintenance activity will complete 208-240V upgrade project for the above 3 cabinets
with activation of both 'A' and 'B' redundant feed legs, providing complete power redundancy.

Please note that 120 Volts service will no longer be available inside above 3 cabinets by 
November 1st, 2009.  Nominal power voltages on circuits inside above cabinets will be provided
at options of either 208 Volts or 230-240V.  All customers have now been migrated off of 120V
power feeds and 120V circuits inside above three cabinets will be removed by November.


ESTIMATED IMPACT:

Power outage is not anticipated to customer equipments, because only customer devices with 
redundant power supplies are affected by this maintenance.  Our technicians will be unplugging
one of the power cords on the dual power supplies and reconnect it to the new redundant
3-phase B leg, so that complete power redundancy can be provided to customer equipment in
the event of a facility power failure.

Customers may however experience network downtime for up to 5 minutes.

TowardEX's network equipments in above 3 cabinets will be temporarily brought down to install
redundant power supplies on two cabinets. In one of the cabinets, the network equipments will
be connected to an automatic power transfer switch for electrical redundancy. During this work,
brief downtime may occur on network connectivity for up to 5 minutes.  Customers with redundant
network ports should not be affected but backup routing will be used.
