# ACD Version 1.7.0 (Last updated: Dec 21 2004)
#
# Open Contributors Corporation
# for Advanced Internet Development
# ----------------------------------
# Architecture Confirmation Document
# ----------------------------------
# This document is used to help the OCCAID deployment
# team better understand how we can connect your site
# to the community.
#
# Note:
# ***************************************************************
# *** PLEASE READ THE NOTE BELOW CAREFULLY BEFORE CONTINUING ****
# ***************************************************************
# Please be advised that OCCAID only offers connections to the following
# groups of people/entities:
#
# 1) Network Researchers (can be personal or role based)
# 2) People who want to learn routing and network workings (doesn't matter
# whether inside a company lab network or even a personal home network).
# 3) Existing IPv6 networks in North America seeking free IPv6 transit for
# deployment.
# 4) Internet Service Providers seeking IPv6 transit to help with their
# deployment.
#
# If you are NOT an organization or person above, please do not submit an ACD
# form, as you do not qualify. OCCAID is NOT a tunnel broker, we are an
# experimental/academic network resource for people who want to experiment and
# learn the internet protocol(s) in a greator detail (as well as IPv6 upstream
# provider for ISP's and companies who require IPv6 transit to help with their
# deployment). We do NOT provide tunnels to people who simply wish to acquire
# IPv6 or IPv4 tunneled connection to find a shelter for their IRC chat-room
# access and/or hide from DoS attacks by using IPv6. We provide connectivity
# for people who want to do something _productive_ with the technology, instead
# of wasting bunch of network operators' time.
#
# In order to request any type of connection from OCCAID using this ACD,
# this form will request you to enter your contact information, or existing
# RIR POC handle below. If you do not have a POC handle, it is important that
# you understand the following rules when you fill out the contact information.
#
# 1) Please enter your FULL name when asked for your name. Both first name
# and last name. Please do not enter "nick name"'s.
# 2) Please accurately enter your phone number, so that we may contact you
# over phone in the event of network abuse or other issue with your
# connection that is causing material outages to other networks. We do
# not contact people over the phone most of the time, but we require this
# information in the event of an emergency.
# 3) Please do NOT enter free email accounts including MSN Hotmail, Google
# Gmail, and Yahoo! mail as your email address. You must have your own
# valid email address. If you don't have one, there are plenty of cheap
# domains and web/email hosting service providers out there where you
# can easily acquire one at a small fee. Or if you are working for a
# company, you can use your company email account instead.
#
# *****************************************************************************
# Beginning ACD:
#
# Please specify the type of connections you want to establish to OCCAID
# network. Specify IPv6 if you want IPv6 connection only. Specify IPv4 if you
# want IPv4 connection only. Specify BOTH if you want to connect using both
# protocols. Note that IPv6 portion of our network gives you full IPv6 internet
# transit access, while IPv4 is only to our virtual lab world.
1a. Type of connection (IPv4|IPv6|BOTH): BOTH
#
#
#
# Please specify your requested connection type: tunnel or native.
1b. Connection Type: tunnel
#
# If you answered the above question as tunnel, provide your router endpoint.
# The endpoint must be a static IP address, although we will still accept DHCP
# or PPPoX addresses, so long as they remain unchanged for a long time.
1b1. Tunnel Endpoint: 67.86.33.3
#
# *****************
#
# If you answered '1b' question with response of "tunnel", please skip to
# question 2a.
#
# If you answered '1b' question with response of "native", please complete all
# questions within the "1b" section below.
#
# *****************
#
# Enter the POP code from one of the buildings below which you are on-net with.
# Note that port availability at each POP may differ time to time.
# POP Code Details
# -----------------------------------------------
# BOS Switch & Data 74 West WALTHAM MA
# JFK Switch & Data 111 8th Ave NEW YORK NY
# SFO exchangeColo 200 Paul SAN FRANCISCO CA
# LAX 530 West 6th LOS ANGELES CA
# LAX2 1 Wilshire LOS ANGELES CA
# STO Port80-IX Hammarby Fabriksvag 21 A f 4 STOCKHOLM SE EU
1b2. POP Locode:
#
# Select port type. VLAN or Private-XC. VLAN is the default option. Requesting
# Private-XC will result in service charge to cover for equipment expense.
# Please note that both VLAN and Private-XC will require the requestor to run
# in FastEthernet 100BaseTX mode on their premise equipment.
1b4. Port type: VLAN
#
# Enter the billing contact's phone number, street address, email address and
# first/last name. OCCAID will bill you the amount of setup charge required by
# our sponsor to complete your interconnect. Please be advised that some
# sponsors may require you to pay a monthly recurring fee as a maintenance
# charge for OCCAID associated circuits. OCCAID has no control over individual
# sponsor's fee scheduling in facility interconnections.
1b5. Billing Contact:

#
# Enter any COA/CFA clearance details such as cabinet or cage number that is
# needed by OCCAID to initiate a facility cross connection order.
1b6. COA/CFA:
#
#
# *****************
#
# Please describe the type of router you are using
# to connect to OCCAID. Examples: Cisco, FreeBSD, Juniper, Linux, etc..
2a. Type of router: Linux
#
# If you have a registered AS number, say Yes. Else, No.
2b. Do you have AS: No
# SKIP TO 3a IF YOU ANSWERED 2a "NO"
2c. What is your AS number:
#
#
# Do you want to engage into Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) routing with OCCAID?
# If you do not have an AS number, as you may have said "No" in the above
# question, we will assign you a private AS number that is unique within our
# community.
3a. Want BGP (YES|NO)? YES
#
#
# Please list all of your current existing IPv4 address blocks issued to your
# network or organization which you intend to route to the OCCAID community over
# the BGP session. If you do not have one, we may assign you a /29 prefix from
# our block(s). If you are only signing up for IPv6, then this question should
# be left blank as it is not pertinent to you.
3b. List IPv4blocks to route:
#
#
# Please list all of your current existing IPv6 address blocks issued to your
# network or organization which you intend to route to the OCCAID community over
# the BGP session. If you are looking for IPv6 transit connection and have your
# own TLA allocation from a RIR (such as ARIN, RIPE NCC, etc), and if you also
# have a public AS number, we will then give transit to your TLA space.
# Otherwise, we will only keep your IPv6 prefixes routed inside within our
# network, but not redistributed to rest of the IPv6 internet. If you are only
# signing up for IPv4, then this question should be left blank as it is not
# pertinent to you.
#
# If you do not have any IPv6 blocks and want to obtain a /48 from OCCAID,
# then leave this question blank and move to next.
#
3c. List IPv6blocks to route:
#
#
# Do you also want OCCAID to allocate you a /48 IPv6 block to use, out of our
# IPv6 block(s)? Say Yes or No. If you are only signing up for IPv4, this
# question is again not pertinent to you and should be thus ignored.
#
3d. Want IPv6 NLA Block? (YES|NO): YES
#
#
# If you have existing POC record with your applicable RIR
# (i.e. ARIN, APNIC, RIPE, LACNIC), please put it below:
4a. OrgTechHandle:
# If you have existing OrgID record with your applicable RIR
# (i.e. ARIN, APNIC, RIPE, LACNIC), please put it below:
4b. OrgID:

5. Comments:
#
# You are all set! Send completed ACD form to occaid at cnacs.occaid.org
# to get started. You must be subscribed to the OCCAID list first-hand
# before sending this.

#
# Please understand that people who operate OCCAID are doing this out of their
# own free time for hobby and community commitment. While they fully realize and
# understand that they have the duty to serve the community, when they are busy
# and tired, requests may be delayed for up to as long as one full week. We
# will try our best to attend to your connection request as fast as we can, but
# please give up to 5 business days before reposting your request.
#
# Just to give you a general idea of provisioning time, it takes less time for
# OCCAID operators to setup IPv6 connections than IPv4. So you may see your
# IPv6 stuff coming up faster than your IPv4 request.
