Hi Ed,
I'm not sure Speakeasy has any plans for IPv6 any time soon in the future --
but either way, you can continue to keep OCCAID setup afterwards even if
speakeasy gives you ipv6 connection in the future when they deploy it.
OCCAID's Boston IPv6 POP (actually, occaid appears to be the only large enough
network that can provide IPv6 service in boston area thus far, other than
Internet2 project for universities) in Summer St. is currently exclusively
Qwest (AS209) bandwidth for its tunneling endpoint address. So packets may
still end up being routed down to NYC since Boston has no infrastructure for
peering.
