yes, I also have finally ready a somewhat stable 100Mbit/s FreeBSD box
at Pilosoft (a few blocks from NYIIX), and I have a few people who
right now would like to connect downstream from me if I could change
from grandfathered-BGP-site to an regular EINTAP.  So I guess I should
try to help with NBONE now instead.

What I'd like is to serve these people who have asked me with tunnels,
BGP, /48.  To have downstream cable sites connected to me with BGP
like they are connecting to the other EINTAPs now, do I need to run
OpenVPN and join my colo to the ``L2 fabric'' and be an ``NBONE
Participant NTU OpenVPN''? or can I use regular BGP and L3 gif tunnels
and be an ``NBONE Participant AS'' but have other AS's downstream from
me?

Anyway I'm up for whatever and would like to get involved in NBONE!
