There was a political process and a consensus had been reached a few months
ago I think.  AFAIK, they just need to put up a referendum to finalize the
details, work on the new web site and get some actual IX fabrics turned up.

As far as I can see, NBONE itself is running right now just between founding
members those are testing it between themselves, as routing table shows
below.  It's just not finalized yet to accept new people & public members
yet I guess (I've been out of this for long so I don't know the latest
details).

There's been a request to put nbone routing table into
route-server.occaid.net on a separate RIB (e.g. nbone.inet6.0) for
troubleshooting purposes, but it needs to go through change control first..
