Dear members,

We'll be conducting multiple scheduled network maintenance activities
in the coming days.  Below is a list of all scheduled activities to let
you know of affected areas and expected impact.  Contact noc at occaid.org
please if you have questions. Please note that we are receiving heavy
email volume -- if you do not receive a reply from us within 2 business
days, please resend your message and we'll be sure to get back to you 
with resolution or a ticket number as soon as possible.

NEW YORK CENTER

Newark, NJ Area
Night-time Network Maintenance

IPv6 and IPv4 peering interconnections and internal connections between
POPs in metro NYC area will be closed or temporarily shut down for scheduled
maintenance between 8 PM EDT and 6 AM EDT every nights on week of March 26th.

These scheduled maintenance activities are to allow for continued construction
of OCCAID2 network segments.

BOSTON CENTER

Downtown Boston, MA Area
Peering Maintenance
--
IPv6 and IPv4 peering interconnections with external networks in metro Boston
area will be undergoing maintenance between March 27th and March 29th during
off-peak hours.  Brief service impacting outages may occur.

These scheduled maintenance activities are to allow for IPv6 implementation
on connection to Boston MXP.

Downtown Boston, MA Area
Night-time Network Maintenance
--
Backbone connections coming in and out of Boston will be subjected to scheduled
network outages during 4 AM and 8 AM EDT on nights of March 29th and March 30th.

These scheduled maintenance activities are to allow for continued construction
of OCCAID2 network segments and Toronto POP.

Metro LAX Area
Night-time Network Maintenance
--
Internal connections between POPs in Los Angeles area, including tunneled
termination servers will be temporarily closed or be subjected to brief
service outages on nights of March 28th through March 30th, between the
hours of 3 AM EDT and 7 AM EDT.

These scheduled maintenance activities are to allow for continued construction
of OCCAID2 network segments.

Edmonton, AB Area
Night-time Network Maintenance

Backbone uplink connections to Edmonton, AB POP will be temporarily closed or
be subjected to brief service outages on night of March 30th between hours of
3 AM EDT and 7 AM EDT.

These scheduled maintenance activities are to allow for continued construction
of OCCAID Toronto POP.

Kansas City, MO
Night-time Network Maintenance

Backbone routing via Kansas City POP will be temporarily closed or be subjected
to brief service outages on night of March 29th between hours 4 AM and 7 AM EDT.

These scheduled activities are to allow for software/code upgrades as a matter
of routine network maintenance.

Dallas <-> Kansas City Backbone Connection
Night-time Closure

Backbone connection between Dallas-Fortworth and Kansas City POPs will be 
temporarily shut down on night of March 29th at 5 AM EDT.

These scheduled activities are to allow for maintenance work on backbone IGP.
